- Wear your tunic, vest or sash to show you are a Girl Scout.
- Say Hello, Hi. Introduce yourself and let them know you are a Daisy or Brownie Scout with Troop 2170.
- Make eye contact
- Ask if she's a Girl Scout -- former Girl Scouts typically love to talk about their time as a Girl Scout! (And fondly remember selling cookies)
- Share your goal and team goal of 2,500 boxes
- Show off your inventory. Show the pictures of the cookies on the order form or use this picture. Point out your favorites.
- Point out the new package design!
- Talk about money. Let the customers know where the money is going. You can tell your customers that we have a Take Action Project to plant flowers that attract honey bees and are working on selecting some service projects (see Facebook for the girls' ideas!)
- Share why you are a Girl Scout
- Find out how you did (ask your customer!)
- Say Thanks! Thank you!
- Practice Practice Practice!

Cookie Sales - How to Sell Cookies
For the most part, it seems like the cookies "sell themselves." You will be surprised at how some people will come out of the woodwork to buy cookies! But there are things the girls can do:
