Loads of fun at the 2013 Cookie Rally on January 12
Alexis E, Alexis F. Annie, Macy & Maggie had fun getting their nails painted, making a zipper pull and playing Safety BINGO. (Patches were delayed due to the weather, so we will hand them out with the rest of the Cookie Patches and rewards or during our awards ceremony in the spring.)
We learned about the new box designs and talked a little bit about our goals, which we’ll talk about more at our next meeting. As we already have a Take Action Project with the Bees, we’ll use some of our cookie money to help pay for those expenses. We’ll let the girls decide what kind of fun event we want to earn money for (like an afternoon at the Oasis or Reef, making pottery, bowling, a baseball game, etc.) In order to earn the financial patches, we’ll talk in more details about budgeting, money and spread the conversations throughout our meetings during Cookie Time.
