Cookie Sales:
We got all the cookie forms turned in by February 12 -- HOORAY!! Kudos to all of our girls for doing such a great job during pre-sales. We sold 1,917 boxes during pre-sale, which is 76.6% of our goal of 2,500 boxes. We are still looking for possible sites for booth sales. We have 2 dates scheduled:
- March 23rd, ZooMontana during Race the Rabbit
- April 20th, ZooMontana during their Earth Day event
- Nancy is looking into possible dates/times at Ace Hardware in the Heights.
- If you know of a location, please feel free to contact them to see if we can sell there.
- We will create a sign up sheet for each booth sale. We want to have 3-5 girls at each booth.
- March 16/17
- March 23/24
- April 6/7
- April 13/14
On February 11, we read Clover's story about Using Resources Wisely. Annie, Annabell, Kylee, Maddie and Maggie had great fun shredding paper for our Take Action Project and recycling paper. We talked about how we can use resources wisely. The girls present earned the Use Resources Wisely petal and can add it to their vest.
On February 25, we read Rosie's story about Making the World a Better Place. Alexis E, Annie, Kylee, Maddie and Maggie came up with great ways to make the world a better place. And we (along with the Brownies) planted some clover seeds so our flowers can be ready to go when it gets warm. We will plant clover at Scott Lillie's home for his bees and also at ZooMontana (they have honey bees as well).
Later in March, we will have an opportunity to catch up on homework and will do a Law Review.
Brownies:
The Brownies have been working diligently on their Money Manager badges.
Next meeting:
Monday, March 4, Harvest Church
