Great meeting last night! We have new members and even have 2 Brownies in our troop now! Alexis F and Ellie had fun learning about being Brownies with Ms Jean and the Daisies learned about all the flowers in the flower garden.
Daisy homework: please complete pages 63-65 in the Daisy Flower Garden journey book by our November 5th meeting. We'll talk about our favorite flowers and favorite parts of the law.
Brownie homework: No homework!
Sales orders are due to Jean by Friday October 26!
Next meeting: Halloween Party! We'll meet at Harvest at 5:45 next Monday October 29 for our Halloween Party! Please come in costume. We'll play Halloween games like Bingo & bobbing for apples, enjoy some treats and maybe even watch "it's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!"
We will also do a Halloween Craft (Ghost lights). Please bring:
· Clean 1 gallon milk jugs (bring as many as you like)
· Extra white Christmas lights

· If you did not attend the beekeeper field trip, and have not already done so, please draw or bring a picture of a bee and tell the troop 1 bee fact.
· If you have not already done so, please bring a picture of a woman who is courageous & strong and be prepared to present to the troop
New Daisy Members: don't worry about trying to play catch up with the petal patches. We'll have some time through the year to review each story to give you a chance to earn every petal!
November 12, Mad Hatter Tea Party, 6:00 – 7:15 p.m. High Plains Women’s Museum. The girls will learn proper tea etiquette and enjoy a tasty treat. They will also get to design a hat. This will be in place of our regular meeting.
