Daisies: we will go over homework, pages 63-65 in the Daisy Flower Garden journey book. We will talk about our favorite flowers & favorite parts of the law. We will also go over past homework assignments, including:
- Bee facts
- Picture of a woman who is courageous & strong
- Review of the Girl Scout Promise
Brownies: be sure to have your Brownie Quest book and be prepared for FUN!
Service Project: Please bring $5 worth of toys, gifts, bathroom supplies to fill our Operation Christmas Child box. Ideas:
- Small toys, candy, toothbrush, hairbrush, school supplies – something a girl your age would like
- We will include a card and a picture – so please wear your Girl Scout uniform so we can get a group picture!
- We will also track our box through the Christmas season to see where it goes!
Upcoming Events:
November 12 (this will take the place of our regular meeting on November 12) Mad Hatter Tea Party, 6:00 – 7:15 p.m. High Plains Women’s Museum. The girls will learn proper tea etiquette and enjoy a tasty treat. They will also get to design a hat. You should have received a confirmation in the mail.
November 19 or 26: we will take one of these evenings off for Thanksgiving. We’ll talk about it at our next meeting.
